Biking through Whitetail Ridge COE
What I’m not telling you is that I have to get Cheryl well before we go to Damascus, Va., to ride the Virginia Creeper trail. I need her to peddle and keep the back end of that tandem bike close to the front end! So I keep pushing her to get well!!! Time is running out!

Petersburg COE
Near Augusta Georgia

We bought the 32RS in Heflin at GARV and give them high marks for customer satisfaction. We found a few minor issues that Matt took care of pronto. Plumbing leaks, defective GFCI outlet, coax issues, etc. After the first trip to Petersburg COE all of these issues were discovered and fixed. Thanks GARV. Love the auto level feature!
The wind and white capping lasted for about three days. Reminded me of conditions I have seen on Lake Eufaula, a north-south lake. This was on an east west portion of Strom Thurmond (better know as Clark’s Hill Lake).
Jekyll Island Campground 2024
What’s new this year
Be sure to subscribe to this blog so that you will be notified by email when a new blog comes out. I plan to do a blog after our trip to Branson in April , 2024.

The Iconic JI sign is gone! No longer welcoming you to the JI Causeway. They replaced it once but after that one came down they just gave up! I miss it!

I found out tonight, 3/24/24), the reason the amphitheater was closed in 1985 was because the mosquitoes were eating people alive!!!! His family had a house on Jekyll from the late 60s until recently and he actually attended performances in this amphitheater.
At the pier on Jekyll Island we ran into a bunch of bikers with BRAG. They were doing a section of the ride across Georgia. The bus was cool.
